MN2028: Managerial Economics is a Level 2 microeconomics course that emphasises practical applications for managerial decision-making. It is less theoretical than a standard microeconomics principles course, focusing on topics such as decision-making under uncertainty, game theory, strategic competition, asymmetric information, and corporate governance. Students will explore real-world business scenarios, including risk assessment, pricing strategies, firm behaviour in competitive markets, and issues like moral hazard and adverse selection.

To enrol, students must have attempted EC1002: Introduction to Economics and either MT105A: Mathematics 1 or MT1174: Calculus. This course cannot be taken alongside EC2066 Microeconomics.
