Our business is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. 

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

UKNotes takes the privacy of its customers very seriously and will process and use information about you in  a manner that is in conformity with current security standards. We do not collect any personal information about:  racial or ethnic origins, political opinions or memberships, religious beliefs or sexual preferences, union membership  or health or genetic information. 

 

The Platform may contain hyperlinks which, if clicked, will navigate you to the websites of third parties.  UKNotes has no control over the websites of third parties. It is possible that a different privacy policy applies to the use of these websites. This Privacy Statement only applies to personal data obtained by means of the Platform. UKNotes accepts no responsibility or liability for the (operation or contents of) third party websites.

We may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail.

Use by Third Parties

Accept as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy , UKNotes will not disclose personal information to any  third party unless we believe that disclosure is necessary:

1) To conform to legal requirements or to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other legal process received by UKNotes, such as an infringement on Intellectual Property rights of others, whether or not a response is required by applicable law;

2) To enforce the UKNotes agreements with you, to manage the website or to protect your rights;

3) To protect the safety of members of the public and customers of the Service.

4) UKNotes also uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google  Analytics uses 'cookies', which are text files placed on your computer as described in paragraph 3, to help  the website analyse how you use the site. The information generated by the cookies about your use of the website  (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for  website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also  transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the  information on Google's behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You  may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if  you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this Website. By using this Website, you consent to the  processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

5) In the event of UKNotes's further growth and development, one or more parts of the assets of the company may be transferred to a third party or UKNotes may merge with a third party. In that case your personal data will also be transferred.

 

Personal Information

We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information and purchase history. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile.
